Had fantastic care at shrewsbury hospital ward 19. All my needs were seen to swiftly and in a very sympathetic friendly way ward 19 is a credit to the NHS.

The care I received was excellent, staff were attentive and ensured I was comfortable as possible. HCA were excellent and the support provided was second to non.
Staff took the time to listen to patients and understand individual needs.

I found superb care and attention throughout my stay. I also observed the same when staff were dealing with others plus patience and understanding.
A comment though about the shower arrangements. Two wet rooms but alas only one has a shower head !! Mirrors are missing over wash basins. Shaving point is only available in one wet room, the one with no working shower, and is positioned by the door opposite side of the room to the mirror which is by the toilet It's a first time experience for this type of thing but we managed!!

I dont think the ward need improving. Brilliant staff, always there when needed even when ward is busy was never ignored. Fantastic. Staff are always friendly, cheerful and are always doing there best!

Hospital own staff the very best. No complaints at all. Agency staff almost useless patients having to tell them what to do and slow as snails.
